It looked level until i crouched down to take the pic. Most likely the house is not level.
This was a vacant lot as of the 1897 plot maps. And not much of anything happens in this town.

there’s historical part of town nearby that has a bunch of plaques like that ... if I put one up at a random location I wonder how long it would last
